Birgit and I both experience this dichotomy of emotions during summer. We relish the shiny, bright, blossoming world around us and the energy it brings. We also find ourselves inspired and bubbling with that energy, drawn in many directions creatively, socially and mentally, to the point where we must remind ourselves / each other that we need to balance that out. Summer is wonderful for all its colour and buzz, but we think it also calls for times of quiet, slow and steady, and mindfulness.
